The beautiful city of Florence, Italy

Sunday we had a fabulous day in Florence or in Italy it is pronounced Firenze. We visited the Santa Croce Cathedral which housed the tombs of Galilieo, Machiavelli, Dante, Michelangelo, among others. One in our party attended mass while the rest of us went leather shopping. At the recommendation of the leather shop owner, Stefano, we had a wonderful lunch at Il Francescano. Besides the wine, I had the best gnocchi I have ever tasted. The rest of the day was spent shopping and site seeing. Today we are going back to Florence to visit some of the museums, and to pay a special visit to see David. Caio until later.
