COZUMEL – SCUBA DIVING
Here I go again! I am about to embark on another adventure from my bucket list – scuba diving. Over three years ago, two of my friends convinced me that scuba diving would be a great activity to learn. I diligently took scuba diving lessons and did my open water check out dive at Lake Pleasant. I have not put on my mask or fins since that last check out dive. Last week, through AZ Divers (azdivers.com), I completed a recertification course, and am now ready to go on my virgin dive trip to Cozumel, Mexico. I will be traveling with 30 of my closest friends from Scottsdale Sea and Ski Club (SSSC.clubexpress.com). I know I will be in good hands with our President, Ed Carmines, leading the adventure.

I am really looking forward to staying at the all-inclusive resort, Sunscape Sabor Cozumel Resort (SunscapeResorts.com/Cozumel). From checking the resort website, in addition to scuba diving with an experienced dive team, we can also enjoy golf, snorkeling, kayaking, and, of course the pool and ocean, etc. Once our week in Cozumel comes to an end, two of my girlfriends and I will complete our stay at a resort in Cancun for an additional week. While in Cancun, we plan on swimming with the whale sharks, and visiting a Mayan ruin. Come along with me and experience my first attempt at scuba diving!!
